Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett tied at the ACM Awards, and people are not happy

Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett tied for some of the largest awards of the evening, Entertainer of the 12 months.

It used to be Underwood’s 3rd win, whilst it used to be Rhett’s first time.

However on social media there have been some gripes that Underwood should not have needed to percentage the award and that it used to be misogynistic.

“You could not stand to offer it to a feminine only one freaking 12 months, so you are making her percentage it and award the male as smartly?!” one individual tweeted based on the Academy’s tweet saying the win.

For his or her section, Underwood and Rhett had been gracious in sharing the win.
