Covid Australia: Sydney enjoys new freedoms as 107-day lockdown lifts

Australia’s state of New South Wales has handed its 70% vaccination goal, leading to Sydney easing its 107-day lockdown.

Non-essential retail outlets, eating places, bars, hair and attractiveness salons have reopened after being pressured close for nearly 4 months.

Buyers covered up around the town for the middle of the night reopening, excited to revel in their new freedoms.
