Filipino ambassador and consuls in Canada recalled until garbage is shipped back

The Philippine overseas secretary says the ambassador and consuls in Canada are being recalled over Ottawa’s failure to take again truckloads of rubbish that Filipino officers say have been illegally shipped to the Philippines years in the past.

Overseas Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. tweeted Thursday that the Philippines “shall take care of a lowered diplomatic presence in Canada till its rubbish is send certain there.”
