Flights between U.S. and Venezuela suspended as unrest continues

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Division of Transportation on Wednesday ordered the suspension of all industrial passenger and load flights between the USA and Venezuela, mentioning reviews of unrest and violence round airports within the South American nation.

In a letter to the Transportation Division soliciting for the halt, the Division of Native land Safety mentioned “stipulations in Venezuela threaten the security and safety of passengers, airplane, and staff travelling to or from that nation.”

Venezuela’s Data Ministry didn’t straight away reply to a request for remark.

Many world airways had stopped flying to Venezuela anyway on account of safety considerations and disputes over cash they are saying the federal government owes them.
