Monet Haystacks painting sells for record $110.7m

A portray through Claude Monet has been purchased for $110.7m (£85.7m), a brand new international report for a piece through the French artist.

Monet finished the oil portray in 1890 as a part of his Meules (Haystacks) sequence, depicting rural existence close to his house within the Normandy area.
