Woman in hospital after being hit by car and stabbed in Cumbria

A lady has been taken to health facility after she used to be hit by way of a automobile after which stabbed whilst with a kid in Cumbria.

Police are investigating an incident that passed off at about 2.30pm on Saturday within the Woodend space in Egremont.

A pink Kia Rio used to be in a collision with a lady in her 40s and a boy of secondary faculty age.

The motive force, a person in his 20s, left the automobile and assaulted the girl, leaving her with non-life-threatening stab wounds to the arm.

She used to be later taken to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.

The kid suffered minor accidents, he used to be taken to health facility as a precaution and discharged.

Police had been later referred to as at 2.44pm to a document of a unmarried automobile collision on St Bees Highway involving a pink Kio Rio.

Officials attended and positioned a person in his 20s in a forest space. He used to be pronounced useless on the scene.

Police say there aren’t any suspicious cases and there used to be no risk to the broader public on the time.
